New digital screens light up Durham ahead of Lumiere

GRM has further lit up Durham's bus station with content for two additional 46inch Ferrograph digital information screens to inform the public about special travel arrangements for Lumiere next month.

Back in Durham for the fifth time, artists from around the world will illuminate the city in delightful and unexpected ways from 16-19 November, with a series of light installations to explore.

In addition to the touch-screen interactive journey planner screen already installed at Durham bus station (and a further outdoor installation at the city's rail station), we have now come up with stylish content for the two non touch-enabled 46-inch screens. The screens show information on extra park and ride services for the event, as well as changes to regular bus services and stopping arrangements. These will in future be used for advising of short term service disruptions and changes, and for publicising upcoming events and council initiatives.
